Agritel said France will need to export 20.1 million tonnes of soft wheat in 2019/20 after harvesting 39.2 million tonnes, up 14.9%. About 11.3 million tonnes must go outside the EU, and the consultancy said good quality and a weak euro should help French wheat compete.
