New-crop UK feed wheat prices have climbed to £143-£153/t for 2020 harvest as rain delays drilling in France, Germany and elsewhere. Trade estimates put the 2020 UK wheat crop at 10-12 million tonnes, and up to 1 million tonnes more of the 2019 crop is expected to be carried over.
Smaller expected UK crop and planting delays lift new-crop European feed grain values, though the carryover of old crop limits the rally.
