AHDB reports Chicago wheat closed at its highest since July 2015 amid dryness concerns in the US and Black Sea, and Moscow raised its Russian 2020/21 exportable surplus forecast by 5Mt to 50Mt. Defra put UK 2020 barley production at 8.4Mt, up 4%, and wheat at 10.1Mt, down 38%.
Higher benchmark wheat prices and a Russian export surplus revision shape global feed grain costs, while a larger UK barley crop adds European feed supply.
