Vietnam's Department of Forestry published the 2020 Forest Boundary Map version 1.0 to help exporters show their products are not linked to deforestation. The map targets timber, coffee and rubber shipments to the EU.
Traceability maps let Vietnamese exporters meet EU due-diligence requirements and keep access to the EU market. Coffee and rubber are not in the commodity list, so the direct price impact is minimal.
