The discussion focused on how a new EU due diligence regulation against imported deforestation could be designed and enforced.
A possible EU due diligence rule on deforestation could eventually raise compliance costs and traceability requirements for imports such as palm oil and soy. The effect on feed prices would be gradual and depends on the rules adopted.
