Chicago wheat December futures rose 15.25 cents to 725.5 cents a bushel and Kansas wheat rose 20 cents after the USDA stocks report. Soybeans fell 27.75 cents to 1256 cents and corn fell 2.25 cents, as the soybean stocks figure of 256 million bushels was far above expectations.
The soybean stocks miss makes the old-crop soy balance looser and pressures soy complex prices, while wheat's rally reflects tighter wheat supplies.
