Lower use of fertilizers could adversely affect wheat output: official - Markets

Pakistani officials said high DAP and urea prices and urea shortages have reduced fertilizer use, which may cut the 2021-22 wheat crop. Punjab missed its revised sowing target but other provinces met theirs, and 30% of seed planted is drought and disease tolerant.
