U.S. dollar touches 20-year high as markets shun risk

The US dollar index hit a 20-year high of 104.19 as risk-off sentiment rose over Fed inflation-fighting concerns, the Ukraine war and COVID cases in China. The dollar has risen for five straight weeks as Treasury yields climbed.
