COCERAL's fourth 2022 forecast puts the EU-27+UK total grain crop at 287.9 million tons, down from 309.8 million in 2021. EU corn is cut to 51.9 million tons from 70.2 million due to heat and drought during pollination, while wheat is lowered to 140.5 million tons.
EU wheat exports are expected to reach a three-year high despite the smaller crop.
