Teagasc estimates Ireland's 2022 cereal harvest at 2.42 million tonnes, up 4% from 2021, with record yields for spring barley, winter oilseed rape and spring oats. Winter wheat yield matched its previous record at 11.0 tonnes per hectare.
A larger Irish cereal crop adds modest supply to the European barley and oats balance, slightly easing feed grain prices in the region.
