WASDE lifts Aus wheat, barley forecasts

USDA's November WASDE raised Australia's 2022-23 wheat production to 34.5 million tonnes, up 1.5Mt, and its exports to 27Mt, up 1Mt. It cut Argentina's wheat crop to 15.5Mt, with exports down 2.5Mt to 10Mt, and raised world wheat production to 782.7Mt.

Higher Australian supply and a smaller Argentine export outlook partly offset each other, but the larger world supply points to softer wheat prices. Feed wheat use is also raised.
