China's yuan hits 5-week low, South Korea export data darkens outlook

China's yuan fell to a five-week low in early Monday trading as weak South Korean export data pointed to deteriorating Asian export orders. The spot rate traded near 6.83 per dollar while the PBOC set its midpoint weaker at 6.8151.
