Some U.S. corn farmers say they are open to Mexican restrictions on genetically modified corn after decades of growing GM varieties. Mexico's proposed restriction on corn for human consumption would mainly affect white corn imports used for tortillas, and U.S. Agriculture Secretary Vilsack said he expects the administration will compel Mexico to reverse the policy.
