Payment limits to be reconsidered in Farm Bill

Senator Chuck Grassley said he will again propose tighter farm bill payment limits in the upcoming reauthorization. He cited the claim that 10% of the largest farmers receive 70% of program benefits.

He expects southern agriculture to oppose the proposal, while fiscal conservatives and many Democrats may support it.
