DeLong Company's Agricultural Maritime Export Facility is open at the Port of Milwaukee, with its first small DDGS shipment arriving in Ireland. The facility can store 30,000 tons of DDGS or 45,000 metric tons of soybeans and expects up to 400,000 metric tons of annual throughput.
The facility opens a new export outlet for Wisconsin DDGS and grain, adding modest competition for Gulf-based shipments and supporting regional basis for local producers.
