India's government will route 12 lakh tonnes of non-basmati white rice sales to 11 countries through the newly formed National Cooperative Exports Limited, despite the July 20 export ban. Approved shipments so far total 12.52 lakh tonnes to destinations including UAE, Malaysia, Philippines and Singapore.
