US GDP Lower Than Expected in Q1: EUR/USD, GBP/USD, USD/JPY Latest

The US economy grew 1.6% in the first quarter of 2024 in the preliminary estimate, below the 2.5% expected. The GDP price index rose to 3.1%, above expectations, which pushed back expectations of Federal Reserve rate cuts.
