Dollar trades higher after mixed US data, but Mideast conflict keeps mood tense

The dollar rose after mixed US data, reversing an initial dip. The yen had gained after the Bank of Japan's rate decision but turned negative during Governor Ueda's press conference.

The dollar was last up 0.25% against the yen at 145.17.
