U.S. grains: Soy futures end mixed; corn and wheat sag after USDA reports

CBOT soybean futures ended mixed on June 30 after USDA quarterly stocks showed June 1 soybean stocks of 1.008 billion bushels, above the 980 million expected. USDA also put 2025 soybean plantings at 83.4 million acres, below March and last year.

Corn and wheat fell on strong crop conditions and larger-than-expected wheat stocks.

Bigger old-crop soybean stocks and ample corn and wheat supplies weigh on feed grain prices, while the lower acreage figure supports deferred soybeans and gives feed buyers a firmer outlook for new-crop meal costs.
