USDA's September WASDE cut the national corn yield to 186.7 bushels per acre from August's 188.8 and lowered soybean yield to 53.5 bu/acre. Both yields came in above average analyst estimates, and 2025-26 ending stocks also beat expectations.
Yield cuts tighten supply, but production and stocks still exceeded trade estimates, so the net effect is limited and feed grain prices face mixed pressure.
