Vietnam fragrant rice price fall to one-month low on weak Philippine demand

Platts assessed Vietnam Fragrant 5% rice at $494/mt FOB on May 28, its lowest level since May 1 and down from a May 11 peak of $504. Philippine buyers have slowed purchases amid high prices and slower sanitary import clearances.
