USDA raised its 2026 milk production estimate for the fourth consecutive month to 235.4 billion pounds, and gave a first look at 2027 at 236.0 billion pounds. The Class III 2026 average was projected at $17.00 per cwt, and the import and export forecasts were adjusted.
Rising production forecasts point to ample milk supply, while the higher Class III projection supports dairy prices and dairy-linked feed demand.
