November soybean futures fell 27.75 cents to $11.92 on July 29 as forecast rains for dry parts of the Northwest Corn Belt removed weather premium. Wheat and corn also closed lower while cattle and crude oil rose.
Expected August rains in drought-prone soybean areas reduce the crop-risk premium, pressuring soybean, corn and wheat prices heading into the critical pod-filling period.
