Russia's Agriculture Minister says the country is turning to its Far East to export grain as Ukrainian strikes disrupt flows from key Black Sea ports. The disruption came at the peak of the summer export season, and the Black Sea basin accounts for more than 70% of Russia's grain exports.
Rerouting grain to distant Far East ports adds freight cost and transit time, which limits how quickly Russian supplies reach buyers and supports world wheat prices.
