Ukraine's State Statistics Service reported grain and pulse stocks of 6.9 million tons as of 1 June 2021, up 15% year on year. Corn stocks rose 16% to 3.63 million tons, while sunflower stocks fell 39% to 1.39 million tons and barley fell 28%.
Larger corn stocks add to near-term Black Sea export supply, which is bearish for corn prices. Sharply lower sunflower stocks support sunflower meal and oil prices.
