Even the chickens in China have healthy diets filled with medicinal herbs. Skystar Bio-Pharmaceutical makes and distributes veterinary medications and vaccines for poultry, livestock, and pets in China. It also makes herb and antibiotic-rich feed additives and probiotics ("healthy bacteria") that are added to the feed supply to help aid digestion. Skystar sells its line of about 175 products to 400 customers (including the Chinese government) and more than 1,000 distributors across the country. It's also the only Chinese manufacturer of the DLV vaccine, which protects against avian coccidiosis, a top disease-causing intestinal parasite that kills poultry.
