Select Nutrition

Ruminant livestock performance through rumen health, animal health and lameness prevention. Select Nutrition has a long history of providing animal nutritional supplements to the ruminant livestock agriculture industry. Our animal health products can be broken down into four main categories; Dairy Cattle, Beef Cattle, Sheep, and Forage & Seeds. Our Managing Director John Parker has many years experience in the agricultural nutrition market working for many years for some of the major suppliers in the animal nutrition industry, before setting up Select Nutrition in 1999. Ruminant ration formulation to produce high levels of feed efficiency are part of the service Select Nutrition offer. Forage and feed analysis is carried out in order to produce these feed programmes. This feed consultancy/advisory service is not invoiced directly but is paid for by the use of Select Nutrition bespoke cattle and sheep mineral supplements or branded animal feed products. Select Nutrition believe animal performance is not only closely linked to animal nutrition but is also directly affected by the animals health status. Forage quality has a huge role to play in maximising animal performance and as standard we offer a forage and feed analysis service to gain more in depth knowledge of feed values and mineral and trace element status.
