Meridian Biotech is an industrial biotechnology company that develops a proprietary process based upon wastewater treatment technology. It converts organic material into single-cell protein (SCP) – a sustainable alternative for the aquaculture and livestock feed industries. The company has developed the MTech Process, a proprietary technology utilizing low value organic co-products to create alterative non-GMO microbial protein feed ingredients and additives for the global aquaculture, pet food and livestock markets. The company is scheduled to commence commercial production of SCP utilizing condensed distillers solubles, a co-product of the ethanol production process.
