# Béni Mellal farm season

> Morocco launched its 2026–2027 agricultural season after a previous cereal harvest of about 90 million quintals. The government plans to provide 1.3 million quintals of certified seeds at a 50% subsidy and around 500,000 tonnes of phosphate fertilizers, alongside direct-seeding, irrigation, insurance and livestock-support measures.
