# Russian wheat price drops hit Port of Constanta

> Russian export wheat prices fell as renewed maritime traffic in the Sea of Azov and aggressive bids for tenders in North Africa and the Middle East increased competitive pressure. Strong harvest expectations in Australia and Argentina added to supply pressure, while milling wheat prices at Romania’s Port of Constanta declined to about €217 per tonne from €225–233.
