# Government offers deal to San Antonio truckers to end strike

> Chile’s government presented an agreement to independent truckers in San Antonio, who are due to vote on it Friday. ## Why it matters

The blocked depots are disrupting container movements around San Antonio, potentially delaying cargo flows; approval of the deal could ease the bottleneck and reduce delays.
