# Nezhinsky Mining and Processing Plant is in step with global potash fertilizer market growth

> Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko was briefed on challenges in completing and commissioning the Nezhinsky mining and processing plant. The first and second phases are operating, with the complex reported at a design rate of one million tonnes per year; about 400,000 tonnes of potash fertilizer have already been produced and exported.
