> Dry late-summer conditions continue to weigh on crops across the Île-de-France plain. Rapeseed has been hit by drought and pest attacks, with nearly half of seeded fields in Essonne at risk, while winter cereal sowing is largely finished under good conditions. Sugar beet and maize harvests are very uneven, with some beet fields yielding little or nothing.
