# Amid Rain Breaks, Soybean Planting Reaches 65% in Cornélio Procópio Region (PR)

> Soybean planting in the Cornélio Procópio region of northern Paraná reached 65% of its 342,000-hectare target, with 223,300 hectares sown. Excess rain and humidity limited fieldwork, and about 200 alqueires need replanting. Crops are in good condition for now.

## Why it matters

Planting is behind pace, but crop condition is good, so the supply effect is limited. Forecasts of more rain are the main risk to yield and quality.
