> Oilseed workers' unions SOEA and FTCIODyARA have kept up a strike for six days at several terminals in Gran Rosario over a wage claim. About 14,000 trucks are queued near the ports, and the 14 grain processing plants in the area have stopped. The Rural Society's president has criticized the stoppage and called on the parties to compromise.

## Why it matters

Halted crushing and loading in Argentina's main soy export hub delays shipments of meal and oil and backs up grain flows. That tightens near-term export availability and supports soymeal and soyoil prices while the dispute lasts.
