# StoneX projects Brazil safrinha corn at 113.5 million tonnes in 2026/27

> StoneX issued its first estimate for Brazil's 2026/27 second-season corn crop at 113.53 million tonnes, up 2.3% from 2025/26. Planted area is expected to rise about 350,000 hectares to 18.1 million, and the firm also raised its soybean and first-crop corn forecasts.
