## Why it matters

Lower crude oil prices and expectations of higher palm and soy oil stocks are pushing vegetable oil benchmarks down, which eases the cost of edible and feed oil inputs. Sunflower oil stays firm in export markets because of shipment delays, so the discount between origins is widening.
