> The Philippine Department of Agriculture said its Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund is in its second year, with P10 billion in yearly funding from rice import tariffs under the Rice Tariffication Law. Funds are going to seeds, farm machinery, credit and extension across 968 municipalities. Farm machinery deliveries and bidding for further equipment are underway.
