# Philippine Demand Lifts Vietnamese Fragrant Rice Export Prices

> Platts reported Vietnamese 5% broken fragrant rice FOB at 499 USD/tonne on 30 October, up 28 USD week on week and the highest since 17 August. The Vietnam Food Association said the Philippines issued SPS import permits for 25% broken fragrant rice, with a November quantity of 300,000 tonnes, and prices for that grade have reached about 540 USD/tonne.
