# India's palm oil imports hit 14-month high, soyoil purchases set record

> Indian palm oil imports rose 6% month-on-month to 866,000 tons in October, the highest since August 2025. Soyoil imports reached an all-time peak of 653,000 tons, and sunflower oil shipments doubled from a four-year low. Refiners stepped up buying as prices fell, ahead of the Diwali festive season.
