# Milei announces cut in export duties on wheat, barley and soybeans

> Argentine President Javier Milei announced at the Buenos Aires Grain Exchange anniversary event that export duties on wheat and barley will fall from 7.5% to 5.5% starting June 2026. He also said soybean duties will be reduced gradually by a quarter to half a point per month from January 2027, subject to tax revenue and fiscal balance.
