# La Jornada: Support to agricultural prices down over two decades

> An OECD report says support to Mexican agriculture fell from an average of 25.3% of producer gross income in 2000-2022 to 15.1% in 2023-2025, driven mainly by a sharp decline in market price support. Domestic producer prices remain about 11% above international references, especially for sugar, rice, barley, beans and wheat.
