# Asian currencies mixed as Aussie falls after RBA hike, yuan weakens By Investing.com

> Asian currencies traded mixed on Tuesday. The Australian dollar slipped 0.2% to $0.6988 after the RBA raised its cash rate 25 basis points to 4.85% in a 6-3 vote. The offshore yuan weakened 0.37% to 6.6710 per dollar after the PBOC raised its FX reserve requirement ratio.
