# Third U.S. Port of Entry opens to Mexican cattle

> Mexico's agriculture ministry (SENASICA) reported that live cattle movement resumed through the Puerto Palomas quarantine station in Chihuahua into Columbus, New Mexico, with a first shipment of 750 head. Around 3,500 head per day now cross from Mexico through three operating U.S. ports in Chihuahua and Sonora.
