# EUDR: EU rules are protecting Argentine soymeal from bearish hits

> Argentine soymeal, which normally trades at a discount to Brazilian meal, has moved to parity with Brazilian FOB prices since September because of the upcoming EU Deforestation Regulation. In the second half of October, a bearish move hit Brazilian FOB much harder than Argentine FOB, opening a gap of more than 4%.
