# Ukrainian oilseed processing keeps expanding in wartime

> Ukraine has built 10 oilseed-processing plants since the full-scale war began in 2022, according to UkrOliyaProm director Stepan Kapshuk, speaking at a fat and oil industry conference. Existing plants processed 14 million tonnes of sunflower seed in 2025, running at 68% of capacity.
