# Foreign investors buy heavily in futures as KOSPI and won rise together on US-Iran diplomacy hopes

> The dollar-won rate jumped to the mid-1,340s on November 2, reaching a high of 1,347.20 won, as foreign investors bought more than 106,500 contracts of dollar futures. WTI fell more than 3.3% to around $100 a barrel after reports that Trump favoured diplomacy with Iran, while the KOSPI rose 3.03%.
