# Colombia’s corn, rice output seen declining | World Grain

> The USDA FAS projects Colombia's 2026-27 corn output to fall 6.9% to 1.4 million tonnes and milled rice to fall 6.7% to 1.8 million tonnes, both blamed mainly on El Niño and low farmgate prices. Corn imports are forecast to rise to 8.3 million tonnes, with US corn supplying more than 95% of them.
