# CBH's first report for WA harvest details 2.7Mt received - Grain Central

> Western Australia's bulk handler CBH reported 2.71 million tonnes of grain received for the 2026-27 harvest as of the previous day, nearly double the 1.36 million tonnes at the same point last year. Canola leads receivals statewide, followed by barley and wheat, with harvest under way in every zone despite recent rain.

## Why it matters

A fast, large early harvest in Western Australia adds to near-term export availability of barley, wheat and canola, which tends to pressure nearby prices. Growers' rapid delivery also means farmers are selling earlier into the market.
