> Irish barley stocks are high, with merchants holding 60-80kt and farms holding a further 30-40kt. Mills carry unusually large by-product stocks, and early grass turnout has cut feed demand. Non-EU maize imports, which reached over 1 million tonnes since July 2018, are undermining the local barley market.
